Moolboolaman post office, 15 km west south west of Gin Gin, opened in 1879 (not tied). It was reduced to a receiving office on 17 July 1881, when the post office was moved to Gillian's Siding on 22 July 1881. It in turn was reduced to a receiving office on 1 June 1885
